Introducing
The Owner, Nigel B. Taylor:
Nigel
Taylor is a CFP® Certificant specializing in domestic and international
business, retirement, estate and asset protection planning services
to a wide variety of clients and businesses. The mission of Taylor
& Associates is to ensure that clients achieve their planning
objectives and to assist them in protecting and preserving their
estates as a lasting legacy for future generations. Mr. Taylor provides
a very personalized service, coordinating with other qualified professionals
such as attorneys and accountants to serve the client's best interests.
Mr.
Taylor accepts all methods of compensation (Fee-only, and fee based
services) depending on the client's unique situation and the type
of advice given with the method of compensation to be agreed upon
in advance and incorporated into the written client agreement. All
compensation received is fully disclosed. Mr. Taylor began offering
comprehensive planning services in 1985 and graduated from the College
of Financial Planning, Denver, CO in June 1993. He is fluent in
English of course, as well as German & Swedish. He was a member
of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners from 1992 until
the merger of the ICFP with the IAFP in 1999. He served as the Chairman
of the Financial Planning Association, Los Angeles Chapter in 2000,
a nonprofit professional membership organization and the first fully
electronic FPA chapter in America.
On
November 14, 1999 under Mr. Taylor's presidency, the Los Angeles
Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners was awarded
the David M. King Award as "Outstanding Society of the Year". The
David M. King national awards program, introduced in 1995, honors
the memory of David M. King, the only two term President of the
Institute of Certified Financial Planners who died in 1991. The
award for Society of the Year is awarded to local ICFP societies
for outstanding achievement in six categories, namely: Administration
& Leadership, Membership, Education,Public Relations, Technology
and Government Relations.
